Hey guys, what’s up? It’s your friendly neighborhood Strong Bad with the first SCD tournament announcement in far too long. ;) I hope you all are ready for a great time!

So what will this tournament be about? Well, as the name suggests, this tournament will be kind of like the Sonic Olympics we (are supposed to) hold each summer, but with this competition, only two sites will be involved: The Sonic Center and Sonic Cage Dome. One more New Challenge to be Released Today - by SpinDashMaster

You heard correctly. I'm rolling around again with one more new Super Emerald today. It could be released at any time, so you'll just have to keep refreshing the forum home page until you see it!

As for the teaser:

Every challenge up until this point was either a brand-new or revived old challenge. This one is a hybrid of sorts. I have taken an old challenge (You know which one I'm talking about if you remember the proper order last time) and made a slight modification to the conditionals to make it harder than ever.

Emerald Challenges Return! - by m1ke

Well, it’s been a long time coming, but the Emerald Challenges are back. This time we are starting over again! I know it seems overplayed, but this time we have purpose and commitment.

For a while now, Nelspike, myself, and the rest of the SCD staff have been working on getting the Emerald Challenges back up and running. However, we didn’t want to just carry on with SDM’s old challenges he left us. We wanted to put our own stamp on things around here, so we went about coming up with new ideas and new designs for the badges.

Hello all,

What a week we've had! Some great posting all over the forums, much love for the Rings system, lots of great discussion! A great feeling coming from everyone at the moment. Nice one.

Let's continue in the same way shall we! As excitement builds up to the much anticipated release of Sonic and Black Knight on Wii, we are celelbrating by giving you the chance to win a load of Rings for your collection. Here is a little activity to get your creative juices flowing.

We are running a caption contest with lots of Rings for the eventual winner!

Rings open for Collection! - by m1ke

That's right! Only a mere twelve hours or so late! The forum Rings system is open for business, and there's a lot of collecting that can be done.

Let me explain how this works. It is almost an identical system to the forum post count, whereby you will collect a ring per post you make! However, Rings take on a little twist at this point that makes them differ from a simple post count. Based on some behind the scenes settings, we can create Ring awards for other forum activities. Like for example instead of collecting the single Ring for creating a thread, you will collect 3!
