Published Emulators
All of the emulators distributed by the Sonic Cage Dome have been created by other organizations. We support their project(s) and offer a direct download portal on our site for our visitors. Emulators are shareware, and are not infringements of copyright law. Even so, the only purposes of these emulators is for replacement of damaged, lost, stolen, and obsolete consoles.

Published Read-Only Memory (ROM) Formatted Games
The ROMs provided by the Sonic Cage Dome are games that have originally appeared on Sega® Master System®, Game Gear®, Genesis®, Megadrive®, SegaCD®, MegaCD®, and 32X® game systems, as well as the NeoGeo® Pocket Color®, Nintendo® GameBoy Advance® and arcade machines; unless they are fan-created ROM "Hacks."

Under U.S. copyright laws, it is illegal to reproduce copies of ROM images, unless the console and/or media is obsolete. Obsolete media, as described in section 108, subsection C, visible here: http://www.copyright.gov/title17/92chap1.html#108, refers to software that is no longer manufactured, or no longer available as new in the common marketplace at a fair price. Only systems and games which are obsolete as described above are supported on Sonic Cage Dome.

ROM images themselves are not illegal in most other countries, and it is entirely legal for an individual to obtain backup copies of a game they own, if they are permitted as hereby described.

We cannot be held responsible for individuals who choose to download media from our site that they do not originally own. These individuals are solely, entirely responsible for their actions.
