As you may be very well aware, SCD-Online and SCD as a whole has somewhat died recently. Former leaders and owners of Sonic Cage Dome (m1ke_taylor and Zizou) have lost interest recently in the community and SCD as a whole. Mike and Charles have worked for several years of their lives on this website and community, and for that they deserve a great amount of respect. However, due to their loss of interest and increasing severity of their personal lives, a plan had been enacted to elect new owners. However, unfortunately, that fell through due to inactivity and a lack of web development knowledge. As a result, the website's content and overall activity fell even lower than it already had, and nearly died (might still die, unfortunately).

You also might be wondering who the fuck I am, and why I'm posting an announcement on SCD. Recently, I, Strong Bad, have reoined the Administration (I was an Administrator during 2007 up until the end of generation 7 of SCD), and have put into place a plan of action. With the assistance of current administrators Dark Sonic and VexusVersion, we hope to stimulate activity on SCD-Online and spark interest in SCD as a whole with a large pool of new ideas and the proper tools, knowledge, and skills necessary to implement them. SpinDashMaster can also not be left unmentioned; his Super Emerald Challenge series (accessible only after completing at least 7 Chaos Emerald Challenges) is still on-going despite his extremely busy personal life of school and teaching, along with his extremely limited Internet access. What a beast, right? Man, I wish I was as beastly as SpinDashMaster is. This does mean that updates to the series might be infrequent, however, he still deserves a great amount of respect and gratitude for doing this.

It is the hope of the staff and administration that this is a true sign that SCD will return to its former glory, and once again be the place for online 2-Dimensional Sonic competition and challenges.
