What exactly are the Sonic Olympics?
The Sonic Olympics (SO) are a series of gaming events, just like the original Olympic Games. There will be 10 events, and 5 communities (teams). There will be 5 players per event, one coming from each of the 5 communities (teams). Each event is as important as another, representing a Gold, Silver, and Bronze medal (transformed into banners) for the top 3 runners. All earned medals will be counted for their respective communities. The community with the most medal points will win the 2007 Summer Sonic Olympic Games overall. The winning community's team will be announced and rewarded publicly with a Sonic Olympics Summer 2007 T-shirt to the community founder.

How long will the Sonic Olympics be?

What are the requirements?
For online players it is required to have a ping of 170ms or less on the North American SCD Kaillera Server. Note that the server is in New York City.
